Dr. Mike Walden, economist at N.C. State University, releases his quarterly economic index for the state and finds a bump in the state economy since December. He says that we are still not at pre-Florence levels, but more growth is on the way. Stories to watch for the economy include the White House trade talks because a good deal with China means a boost for N.C. farmers and manufacturers. He talks with Donna King on WPTF AM680 in Raleigh.
