I’ve been working on North Carolina hog farms for more than thirty years, and I’m proud to have owned my own farm since 1993. I’ve witnessed many significant improvements during the past three decades. Today, our farms are managed more professionally than ever before — the animals receive better care, the farms use fewer natural resources, and manure is managed in a responsible way that protects our environment.
