A state House bill that would extend historic rehabilitation tax credits until 2030 cleared its first step Wednesday. House Bill 399 would provide a “disaster relief bonus” to attract investment in qualified historic rehabilitation projects for areas having experienced a natural disaster such as damage from flood, hurricane or tornado.
