Gov. Roy Cooper on Saturday traveled to Orange County for a firsthand look at damage done by a line of severe weather that roared through central North Carolina Friday, part of the same system that left a trail of death and destruction throughout the Deep South. Cooper toured Maple View Farms, where a building's roof was virtually destroyed by strong winds that pounded the area.
