Phillip Flagg pokes his head out from the tarps that make up his treetop home and looks down. He carefully lowers an empty paint bucket the 50 feet to the ground. A friend puts a Tupperware container with pigs-in-a-blanket (made with fake meat) into the bucket and Flagg pulls it back up. It’s his lunch. “Are you bored up there?” the friend — his ground support — calls. He laughs, then says no. “There’s too much 'Star Trek’ to watch.”
