North Carolina, Atlanta bee highways create communities for both pollinators and people

A new kind of air traffic is buzzing over the Atlanta and Raleigh-Durham areas, thanks to "bee highways."
The bee highways are interconnected groups of hives located on corporate campuses or on building rooftops, each within a three-mile radius of each other because that is how far honey bees are likely to fly in search of food.
