Rep. Chuck McGrady announced Monday that he will not seek re-election to the state House, instead turning his focus toward family and friends, and a bucket list that includes hiking and camping. “Serving in the N.C. House of Representatives has been one of the greatest honors of my life; my gratitude to the people of Henderson County for providing me with that opportunity goes beyond measure,” McGrady (R-District 117) said in a statement. He is serving his fifth term in office.
