Compliance and Documentation is one of the skills needed to be a successful exporter.  Being a successful business person is knowing the problems that you can avoid.   Mike Allocca is one of the best instructors in the business and brings decades of experience.  Plus, Mike is an excellent instructor who can keep the class engaged.  Mike Allocca is the recipient of the President’s E-Award for excellence in exporting.   

Please join us!   EDPNC is offering the following opportunities for Export Education and you are invited to register:  
1.
International Documentation Training – Tuesday, May 21st, 8:30am – 4:30pm at AB Technical Community College in Asheville
2.
Export Compliance Training – Tuesday, July 16th, 8:30am – 4:30 pm at ECU in Greenville
3.
Export Compliance Management Program – Tuesday, August 6th, 8:30am – 4:30pm at RCCC in Kannapolis

Click on the course title for details about what will be covered that day.  All three seminars will include course materials and lunch.  The $250 registration fee will be waived for companies who qualify & apply for the STEP Program.  Each qualifying company can send 1 or 2 employees.  If you are interested in participating in any of these seminars, please email Jen Vogelsberg to get registered and to receive a program application if you have not yet applied.

Companies who do not qualify for the STEP Program will be placed on a wait-list.  If the seminar does not fill-up with STEP-qualifying companies, then wait-listed companies will be given a chance to register 1 employee.

STEP-eligible companies must:  be organized or incorporated in the US; operate in the state of North Carolina; meet theSBA’s size standards for a Small Business Concern; have been in business for no less than 1 year; be in good standing with the federal government (have not been debarred); be an export-ready US company seeking to export goods or services of US origin or have at least 51% US content; and have access to sufficient resources to bear the costs associated with trade.  (Please note – Most Logistics, Consulting, and Distribution companies do not qualify for the NC STEP Program as set forth by our grant’s parameters approved by the SBA, but they can be wait-listed and often times accommodated.)
