More than 70 firefighters from three counties responded Sunday morning to the second-generation family farm founded by Senator Brent Jackson, working for hours to contain a blaze that ate away at a massive maintenance shop filled with farming equipment. At 6:16 a.m. Sunday, emergency personnel were called to a fire at Jackson Farming Company, located at 3171 Ernest Williams Road, Autryville. About 70-75 fire personnel were on the scene at the peak fire suppression, led by primary responding agency Clement Volunteer Fire Department.
