About Malaysia: With a population of 31.7 million, Malaysia is one of the most developed nations in Southeast Asia. About half of its population falls in the middle to upper income group of consumers. In 2016, Malaysia’s total imports of consumer-oriented and edible fishery products were $7.1 billion. Imports of this category from the United States were $492 million (roughly 7% of market share).

Food & Hotel Malaysia: Malaysia’s official food and hotel show, is returning for the 15th time. A bi-annual event, the 2017 show had over 25,000 visitors. The 2019 show is anticipating over 27,000 visitors from 57 countries.
