With the devastation caused by Hurricane Florence still fresh in the minds of many, the 2019 hurricane season has arrived. However, it’s not too late to begin planning for the potential storms ahead. Whether people are new to the area or have years of hurricane experience, practice and preparation are largely the same. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) reported Florence caused $24 billion in damages last year.
