 After the Senate approved its budget last week, lawmakers have been slow to return to action. The House officially rejected the Senate's plan, and already rumors are swirling through the General Assembly that frustrations are building over the wide differences between the two chambers over 2019-20 spending. One of the few things done at the legislature Tuesday was the House Transportation committee approving a bill designed to improve safety for people who use ride-share services like Uber or Lyft.
