Works continues on a new greenhouse facility in Mills River, which is set to be fully operational by next year. Site work is underway for Ontario-based Lakeside Produce’s tomato and vegetable greenhouse operation on Ladson Road. When all phases are complete, the project is expected to add about 150 jobs.  Mark Williams, executive director of Agribusiness Henderson County, said plans are progressing, but weather has delayed the project. Lakeside hopes to complete the site work within the next couple of weeks and construction is set to begin in July.
