House leaders are moving at lightning speed to potentially pass all 12 annual spending bills this month. The chamber is debating a four-bill "minibus" package this week, and Democrats on Monday announced a second minibus — including the agriculture measure, the Interior-Environment bill and three others — will hit the floor next week, reports Pro Budget's Caitlin Emma.

ICYMI: The ag spending bill represents one of the most aggressive attempts by Democrats to rebuff Perdue's policies since they took over the House. The legislation would block his plan to relocate two ag research agencies out of Washington; prohibit USDA from shuttering facilities involved in a Forest Service job training program; reject the deep spending cuts proposed by the White House; and freeze the department's plan to overhaul swine slaughter inspections until the Inspector General reviews the proposal.
