Greensboro-based Syngenta Crop Protection LLC, a division of Switzerland-based pesticide and seed company Syngenta AG, will close its Houston facility over the coming months. The Green Bayou Biosciences facility, at 2239 Haden Road, will begin closing Aug. 12 and is expected to cease all production on Jan. 31, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act letter sent to the Texas Workforce Commission.
