Heat, dry weather caused farmer to lose entire corn crop

You're not the only ones feeling the heat. Farmers and their crops are feeling it too. One farmer felt it so badly this season, he lost 10 acres of crops which could possibly affect the farm for three or four more years. Usually, Griffin Farms Inc. would be out on 15th street in Washington selling their sweet corn. With the weather being so bad this year, they have nothing to sell. Operations Manager Archie Griffin says corn stops pollinating at 95 degrees. The constant heat and dry weather made it impossible to save the corn.
