Decision time is at hand July 9 for Republicans to choose their candidate for the 3rd Congressional District U.S. House seat held by the late Walter Jones Jr. The special runoff election will choose a Republican candidate for North Carolina’s September special election. Republicans Greg Murphy and Joan Perry will face off for a spot as the Republican candidate in the special election on September 10.
