Burlington fabrics manufacture to close, shed 68 jobs in August

A Burlington-based dyeing and finishing facility is shutting down permanently, erasing 68 jobs in the Triad. An worker adjustment and retraining notification (WARN) notice issued July 9 to Alamance County leaders said that Decorative Fabrics of America, LLC – known locally as Burlington Manufacturing Services –– will shut down at 1305 Graham St. Aug. 15. The fabric manufacturer cited an inability to refinance debt and turn a profit.
