At our monitoring sites, grapes are ripe, and the first harvest at the Johnston Co. location started this week. During the next couple of weeks, other vineyards will start to harvest as well. We captured no glassy-winged sharpshooters or grape berry moth in any of our locations this week. Graphocephala versuta is in very low numbers this week as well as the Three cornered alfalfa hopper, except for one of our fields in Rowan Co. which is surrounded by soybean fields, a main host for this pest.
