All across North Carolina, and especially in the bigger cities and suburbs, invisible lines weave their way through neighborhoods and highways and college campuses. Politicians decide the lines. And the lines decide who gets to vote for which politicians. In the process known as gerrymandering, the drawing of these lines give some voters more political power and others less.
