Greensboro-based Unifi Inc. (NYSE: UFI), which makes recycled and synthetic yarn, has named Craig Creaturo as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He succeeds Christopher Smosna, who has served as interim CFO since December and will continue in his role as vice president and treasurer. Creaturo’s will assume duties on Sept. 9. His initial base salary is $480,000 per year with bonuses equal to 37.5 percent, 75 percent and 120 percent of base salary for threshold, target and maximum levels of performance in addition to stock options.
