Hurricane Dorian later today will likely begin kissing the Carolinas, but President Donald J. Trump says food producers in the storm’s path should have no worries. He says the federal government has plenty of tariff revenues to make farmers whole if they take a damaging hit from the storm. The president’s comment came in a Wednesday media briefing on the hurricane, which is now reduced to a Category 2 storm as it works its way north after missing a direct hit on Florida.
