Farmers hurry the harvest ahead of Hurricane Dorian

Wilson County farmers are harvesting tobacco as fast as they can as Hurricane Dorian threatens North Carolina’s coastal communities. Farmhands worked through the weekend and on Labor Day harvesting tobacco, corn and sweet potatoes. “This is our third hurricane in a row, so they know the importance of getting the crop out,” said Lin Vick of Vick Family Farms.
