Hurricane Dorian farm damage

Farmers in one Eastern Carolina County are speaking out about how Hurricane Dorian affected their farms. Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler, Senator Thom Tillis, and other state officials surveyed the damage on farms in Beaufort County on Monday. Pope Farms is one of many with damaged crops after Hurricane Dorian came through. Those in the agriculture community say because of the strong winds, harvesting corn will be extremely difficult.
