Your chance to meet one-on-one with a diverse group of buyers at our exclusive FLAVORS OF CAROLINA show is here!

Join us January 27th in Concord for this unique reception designed to help bring awareness to your products and boost your sales.

What is the Flavors of Carolina?  This event is an upscale food show where North Carolina products are proudly on display. As an exhibitor, this is your opportunity to showcase your products and be discovered by retailers, distributors, restaurants, etc. Be prepared to provide samples, discuss pricing and ask the buyers how you can get your products into their stores or on their restaurant’s menu.

For our exhibitors, we provide an elegant setting that takes this event beyond the typical food show.  A buffet featuring North Carolina products as well as complimentary cocktails entice guests to mingle and visit with you.  Your company will be featured in our Exhibitor Directory and we’ll provide you with a complete list of all invited guests after the show.

Make plans to stay for two days to take full advantage of our additional business development opportunities.
• Prior to the show, exhibitors can participate in our “Doing Business With…” meeting where a representative from a retail chain and a representative from the food service sector will share tips on how to do business with them. More information will be provided to participating vendors prior to the event.
• The NCDA International Marketing section will host a two-day Ag Export Seminar January 28-29. Click here to learn more. http://ncagr.gov/markets/international/NCAgExportSeminar.htm
• On January 28th, NCDA will host a Grower/Buyer Exchange. This will be an opportunity for growers and manufacturers to meet, in pre-scheduled short sessions, with Food Lion and The Fresh Market. We also expect to announce a foodservice wholesale distributor to participate. Sessions will be limited to companies, who are not currently doing business with these retailers or foodservice distributor. Categories of interest are still under review, but both fresh produce and packaged nuts are confirmed. The day will be structured in 15-minute, one-on-one sessions beginning at 8 AM and ending at 4 PM. Registration will be limited to one session with each retailer/ wholesaler represented. The Eventbrite platform will be used to officially register and secure your time slot. Look for more details and the link to register soon.
• On January 28th, Lyn Millhiser, Specialist – Business & Cooperative Programs Rural Development – USDA, will be presenting on opportunities for value-added producer grants and rural business development grant programs among others.
