“The September 1 crop production report indicates no change or a slight increase in yield for most North Carolina’s major commodities compared to the August 1 forecast.” said Dee Webb, North Carolina State Statistician. “Once again we thank the farmers for taking time to respond, especially during their preparations for Hurricane Dorian. The growers ensured quality data was provided and their response allowed USDA NASS to set estimates based on the most accurate information.”
