As harvest continues and we get close to the end of the season, we are finishing the insect scouting at our locations. At this time, only one of the Southwest locations in Rowan Co. will continue to be sampled. Surprisingly, some grape berry moth were caught at the location in Wilkes Co. and some in Rowan Co. The presence of these moths is too late in the season to damage fruit, since harvest is nearly complete. One Glassy winged sharpshooter was caught in Rowan Co., and like in the past weeks, we still found a few Graphocephala leafhoppers at the same location.
