Duke Energy in contract with AT&T for Oklahoma wind farm

Duke Energy Renewables, a commercial business unit of Duke Energy, announced Friday that it has signed a 15-year, 160-megawatt agreement with AT&T for Frontier Windpower II in Oklahoma. Frontier II will be Duke’s largest wind power project at 350 megawatts when completed. The project expands on the first Frontier Windpower project which became operational in 2016. The two projects combined will generate a total of 550 megawatts of wind power when complete, enough to power about 193,000 homes.
