The state of Minnesota won a ruling earlier this week against Winston-Salem-based R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., which could mean millions of additional dollars will flow to state coffers.  The state brought the case to court in March 2018, saying that after R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. is a subsidiary of Reynolds American Inc., which is owned by UK-based British American Tobacco.
