Thanks to new grant funding, graduates from several ECU College of Nursing departments will be poised to provide health care that makes a big difference in small communities. The four-year, $2.79 million grant from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration is intended to transform the advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) workforce and improve access to health care in rural and underserved areas of eastern North Carolina.
