Climate change tops agenda at nation’s largest gathering of land conservation leaders in Raleigh

The Land Trust Alliance, a national land conservation organization, is convening this week in Raleigh the nation’s largest gathering of land conservation leaders. Close to 1,800 from throughout the United States and other countries will attend Rally 2019: The National Land Conservation Conference, which begins Oct. 17 and continues through Oct. 19 at the Raleigh Convention Center. And topping the agenda – following a summer of record temperatures and extreme weather systems – is climate change.
