Law center sues Fish and Wildlife Service for public records on red wolves

The Southern Environmental Law Center is suing the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service over public records related to conservation efforts for red wolves in eastern North Carolina. The non-profit previously sued to block the agency from issuing permits that allowed red wolves to be shot. This new lawsuit claims the Fish and Wildlife Service hasn't fully complied with a public records request to see the agency's plans for conserving the animals.
