Gildan is growing its footprint in Rockingham County — again. Gildan Yarns, the yarn spinning division of the Montreal, Canada-based apparel manufacturer (NYSE: GIL), announced Wednesday it is investing approximately $17 million to establish a new mill operation in Eden, creating 85 jobs. N.C. Department of Commerce Sec. Anthony Copeland announced the investment and jobs at Eden City Hall.
