Your chance to meet one-on-one with a diverse group of buyers at our exclusive FLAVORS OF CAROLINA show is here!

Join us January 27th in Concord for this unique reception designed to help bring awareness to your products and boost your sales.

What is the Flavors of Carolina?  This event is an upscale food show where North Carolina products are proudly on display. As an exhibitor, this is your opportunity to showcase your products and be discovered by retailers, distributors, restaurants, etc. Be prepared to provide samples, discuss pricing and ask the buyers how you can get your products into their stores or on their restaurant’s menu.

Who is invited?  Top officials and buyers from individual restaurants to foodservice distributors to major grocery chains will attend.

Make plans to stay for two days to take full advantage of our additional business development opportunities.
• On January 27, prior to the Flavors show, exhibitors can participate in our “Doing Business With…” meeting where a representative from The Fresh Market, Foster Caviness, and the NC Food Innovation Lab will offer tips and business services information. Time: 12:00 - 1:30
• The NCDA International Marketing section will host a two-day Ag Export Seminar January 28-29. Click here to learn more.
• On January 28th, NCDA will host a Grower/Buyer Exchange. This will be an opportunity for growers and manufacturers to meet, in pre-scheduled short sessions, with Food Lion, The Fresh Market, and Jennette Brothers Foodservice Distributors. Please review criteria for participation and register here.
• On January 28th, Lyn Millhiser, Specialist - Business & Cooperative Programs Rural Development - USDA, will present information about the Value-Added Producer Grant program. Nationally competitive VAPG grant funding is typically available on an annual basis for farmers and farmer groups to help them enter into value-added activities. Grant funds may be used to facilitate economic planning activities to determine the viability of a value-added venture, or for working capital costs directly related to the processing and/or marketing of the value-added product.
