Their adventures have taken them well beyond the county line. The knowledge they share, day in and day out, is invaluable. On Monday evening, representatives with the N.C. Cooperative Extension office in Bladen County gave a glimpse into what they’ve done and will do in the annual Report to the People. Nine county commissioners, several departmental leaders and a number of connections to the agriculture industry came to the Powell-Melvin Agricultural Center to hear the report. Three students from Stacie Kinlaw’s 4-H program were part of the presentation, N.C. State’s Keith Walters, N.C. A&T’s Morris White and most all of Director Becky Spearman’s staff.
