State judges put hold on filing to run for redrawn congressional district seats

A panel of three state Superior Court judges has put on hold when candidates can file to run in North Carolina's proposed redrawn congressional districts. The judges decided late Wednesday to enjoin the filing period that was set to begin at noon Dec. 2 until they issue a new order on a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the districts.
