Jones recognized for 4-H support at Farm City event

Local leaders, state dignitaries, farmers, club leaders and other residents joined together to celebrate all things agriculture at the annual Farm City Luncheon on Friday. The event was sponsored by the Davidson County Farm Bureau and the North Carolina Cooperative Extension. During the annual luncheon, Carolyn Jones, leader of the Cedar Springs 4-H Club, was given the Service to Agriculture and Extension Award, which recognizes outstanding leadership, support of agriculture and education opportunities that lead to the advancement and the improved quality of life of farmers and families in Davidson County.
