Companies interested in growing their business through exports should take advantage of two opportunities planned for January. On Jan. 27, international buyers from Spain, Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, Mexico, Iceland and other countries will participate in one-on-one meetings with N.C. food producers in Concord prior to the Flavors of Carolina trade show. There will be two identical sessions held from 7:30-11:30 a.m. and from noon to 3:30 p.m. A representative from the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) also will meet with participants to talk about SUSTA’s global events and its 50-percent cost-share program. Contact Cathy Ma at Cathy.Ma@ncagr.gov or 919-707-3132 for details.
