Board of Agriculture will meet Dec. 12 in Raleigh

The N.C. Board of Agriculture will hold a meeting Thursday, Dec. 12, at 1:30 p.m. in the Graham Building Sales Arena, State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.

The board will take up the following items:
• Fee increases for the Veterinary Division
• Final adoption of the proposed rule on the Current Good Manufacturing Practice for the N.C. Commercial Animal Feed and Pet Food Program (02 NCAC 09E .0116)
• Legislative update
• 2018 Disaster Program update
• Any other business

About the Board of Agriculture
The Board of Agriculture is a policymaking body that adopts regulations for many of the programs administered by the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Members are appointed by the governor. The commissioner of agriculture serves as chairman of the board.
