Applications are now available for the 2020 Tobacco Short Course!

The Short Course will begin on the evening of Monday, February 3, 2020, with a welcome reception and production lecture from Dr. David Smith (retired Extension Specialist and Director of the North Carolina Agriculture Research Service). Tuesday will follow with an all-day tobacco grading demonstration and training conducted USDA-AMS. Management lectures pertaining to seedling production, disease and insect management, policy, insurance decisions, and curing/mechanization will follow on Wednesday and Thursday. Short Course participants will then be recognized on Friday morning (Feb. 7) at the Commissioner’s Breakfast.
