 Local farmer and Buncombe County Agricultural Advisory Board member Terri Wells is running for a District 1 seat on the board of commissioners. The Sandy Mush Democrat said in a release that she understands and values Buncombe's "rich heritage" and has a "broad vision for the future." To achieve it, she said she will lead on "environmental stewardship, education, jobs and quality of life.”
