A Hendersonville small-businessman and motivational speaker is running as a Republican for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District, saying he wants to defend the values of faith, family and freedom that make America great. Madison Cawthorn, who describes himself as an eighth-generation resident of North Carolina’s 11th Congressional district, is among 12 Republicans who have filed for the seat filled by Rep. Mark Meadows, who will not run for re-election.
