Josh Pate, Wilson County resource conservationist, has been named soil and water conservation director. He has served 11 years with Wilson County government and brings his experience as a river basin technician and resource conservationist into his leadership role. Pate holds an associate degree in horticulture from Lenoir Community College and is certified in environmental education.
