Downtown Gastonia’s LOVING recently purchased a Florida sod farm, making LOVING one of the largest sod farming operations in the United States. Danny and Lois Hall, owners of H&H Sod Co., ran their company for 51 years. The Halls sold H&H to LOVING, which specializes in numerous landscape and turf services, but will maintain ownership of their 3,500-acre tract of land just south of Orlando, Fla.
