Lavender is mainly used for relaxation and as a natural sleep aid. You either love the herb or you hate it, but many people can agree that lavender farms are beautiful and very picturesque. This North Carolina lavender farm is beautiful and will make your jaw drop.  Lavender Oaks Farm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina is open to the public from mid-May until early August. From September to April, you can still tour the farm, but by appointment only. One of the only lavender places that are open year-round.
