The Cleveland County Potato Project is preparing for its 11th year of feeding the county’s hungry. This year, the nonprofit is issuing a call for not only volunteers and new leadership but also financial support. Doug Sharp, one of the founding members, said the nonprofit needs funds to buy fertilizer and potato slips to start the sweet potato year.
