 Alice Scott received high praise as she accepted the Excellence in Agriculture Award Friday at “Breakfast with the Commisioner” held at the N.C. State Fairgrounds’ Holshouser Building. The annual fundraiser for the Tobacco Farm Life Museum of Kenly is held in conjunction with the 2020 Southern Farm Show and raised more than $41,000 for the museum, according to Melody Worthington, museum executive director/curator.
