Henderson County farmers get state aid for 2018 worried about wet start for 2020

Some mountain farmers have received state funds to help them recover from the floods of 2018. Of the roughly $10 million in a special aid package for Western North Carolina, nearly $6 million went to Henderson County. North River Farms in Mills River is one of 116 Henderson County farms that got some of the state aid. Farm manager Kyle Vaughan said a wet start to 2020 already has the farm behind schedule for planting.
