The lineup of celebrations was to be larger than in past years. Agriculture industry dignitaries from across the country were scheduled to travel to the nation's capital as part of a recognition of agriculture. It was all part of the 2020 National Ag Day celebration, which was to include a large, first-ever display of agriculture tools and technologies on the national mall. The entire event has been sidelined, yet agriculture is a critical industry. Last week the U.S. Department of Homeland Security identified critical workers, including most of agriculture.
