Mother Earth Brewing is known for its award-winning craft beer, solar-made spirits, and spiked seltzer. But Kinston’s 10-year-old brewing company has added a new product to its list for nursing home patients and healthcare workers during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Approached by Principle Long Term Care two weeks ago, Mother Earth filled 1,400 12 oz bottles of Mother Earth Spirits’ hand sanitizer on Wednesday, March 25, for 50 nursing homes across North Carolina, Virginia, and Kentucky.
